Jennifer Moss is a burnout researcher, award-winning journalist, and best-selling author who helps leaders understand, measure, and prevent workplace burnout. As Chief Research and Strategy Officer at the Global Wellbeing Group, she leads the research function focused on translating wellbeing science into scalable, enterprise-ready solutions. She combines original research with real-world organizational experience to deliver practical strategies leaders can apply immediately.
Jennifer has partnered with Fortune 100 companies, governments, healthcare systems, and global organizations to measure well-being, diagnose cultural challenges, and design data-informed solutions that strengthen performance and employee experience. She is the former co-founder of Plasticity Labs — one of the earliest technologies to quantify employee wellbeing and convert it into actionable organizational insight. She also serves on the Global Happiness Council and contributes to their annual Global Happiness Policy Report.
Jennifer currently serves as Chief Research and Strategy Officer at the Global Wellbeing Group, where she leads research into how organizations can measure and operationalize wellbeing as a strategic business priority. This work builds directly on her decade of burnout research, her three books, and her founding experience building data-driven wellbeing platforms.
Jennifer’s latest book,Why Are We Here?, explores the future of leadership, culture, and organizational well-being. Her previous book, The Burnout Epidemic, was named by Thinkers50 as one of the 10 Best New Management Books of 2022. Her first book, Unlocking Happiness at Work, won Best Business Book of the Year in the United Kingdom. Jennifer is also a nationally syndicated columnist and frequent contributor to Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, Fortune, and Bloomberg.
