The Social: Tips To Avoid Summertime Stress

Are you feeling burnt out trying to squeeze the most out of your summer events? Author and speaker Jennifer Moss provides tips to help keep your cool.

Jennifer made another appearance on The Social where she speaks about how to feel less stressed when trying to make the most of the summer. She talks about how we feel a sense of false urgency when trying to cram in as many activities into the summer, and how we are at our surge capacity because we’re trying to make up for lost time from the pandemic.

She also talks about how so many of us are feeling FOMO, particularly after having had so much time without activities, but Jennifer asks us instead to find JOMO - the joy of missing out. She invites us not to feel guilty about taking time for ourselves, and to enjoy not filling our schedules with activities that we may not even want to do.
